The ideal candidate must be positive, hard working, energetic and passionate about advancing the development of RAS aquaculture worldwide. This position will collaborate closely with the General Manager and the Hydroponic Farm Manager to provide key leadership on a daily basis within aquaculture operations of the company. The individual selected for this position will have an unparalleled opportunity to advance their professional career within a successful and rapidly growing aquaponics business that is professionally run and affiliated with an international leader in water treatment technology and engineering.

As its first venture, UOPG has launched one of the world’s largest commercial aquaponics facilities in Saint Paul’s former Schmidt Brewery this year. This 80,000 square foot facility will provide 275,000 pounds of fresh fish and 475,000 pounds of organically grown produce to the local community and regional markets annually. Following the successful launch of the Saint Paul facility, UOPG plans to expand its operations rapidly within the US and abroad.
This position will be full-time, reporting directly to the General Manager. Urban Organics offers a competitive benefits package and a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The right person will be expected to cover and work the unsocial hours associated with live animal operations.
